A Painful Reminder

If you haven't read THIS, you must. What a tragic thing that could happen to any of us. If you read her more recent posts, you can see that this family has TRULY seen a miracle.

Read it. It will change you.

An excerpt from her post:

"Please do not try to sugar-coat things for me.
I am responsible. I am the Mommy.
I should have been more attentive.
I should never have walked away from that tub.
I hope to forgive myself one day... Right now that feels impossible."

I cannot EVEN imagine.

Sara Staker is a friend of my niece. She is such a sweet girl, my heart has been broken since that happened! So grateful that everything turned out so well. It's a good reminder that it only takes a minute for your life to change!!

Oh hell, I found it...and that's the saddest thing I've ever ever read in my life.

i have sobbed over this more than i think i've cried over ANYTHING! i am so grateful he's ok ... i told my kids they weren't allowed to bathe anymore - only showers. even though they're older, the thought terrifies me ...

I was BAWLING through that entire post and then had to read all the rest of her updates. I commented on your sis's blog about the Bachelor and then was about to on yours until I read this and now I've been up way longer than I planned and am tired from crying so much. I can't even imagine. It makes all of the daily routines seem so insignificant now. What a miracle that he's alive. Thanks for sharing.
