Ew.

Tonight I was sitting in the dark, minding my own business, looking at pictures on my computer, when out of nowhere four crickets attacked me. FOUR. A blood curdling scream caught in my throat, but I somehow managed to hold in in so I wouldn't wake the kids.
Mike killed them of course (he stabbed them to death with our broom), but the question remains: Why? How?
Four crickets...how random is THAT???? Now I itch all over with the heebie jeebies.

(Shelly, if you are reading this...I think I may be living in Udeme's old house.)

YUCK!!! At least it wasn't a scorpion! I can handle crickets now knowing that there are worse things lerking around my house :(

Glad you made it out alive... and that the girls slept through it! That would have made the ordeal even worse! :)

That's really gross, but kind of awesome at the same time! Way to hold that scream in for the sake of your girls.

Hey, are you going to be in Utah at all the end of September? I have a friend who is interested in having you take family pictures.

Yeah, that's about the scariest thing I've EVER read!!! I heard a cricket WAY too close once in our old house, then out of know where it comes hopping out from behind the couch. I was FREAKING out and it didn't even attack me or come that close. To have a group of them pounce on me!? That wouldn't me good. Yeah,I'd probably STILL be laying in a corner, in fetal position, sucking my thumb...not to mention the whole heebie jeebie itchiness all over my body! You're a brave soul Joy Alice.
