Hello, Lover...

Just thought I would drop in quickly and announce that my love affair with chocolate will soon be rekindled...I am in the process of weaning Sarah. The only thing is...she doesn't love formula so much. It's like I am trying to feed her poison! Any suggestions appreciated...

I am planning on doing a proper post soon...and I am still planning on privatizing my blog. Thanks for the emails, I need to get my list together when a have a free minute (ha!) and do it.

Ok, what? You're weaning? Who will I be breast buddies with? And I have absolutely NO suggestions for the formula thing, I can't even get Wesley to take a bottle of any kind. Yikes! Chocolate doesn't bother him though, so there's no incentive to stop nursing. You go girl!

PAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Your title of that post made me LOL. Hilarious. You kill me. Hello? You haven't had chocolate this whole entire time? HOW?

Jack did the same thing when I went on vacation and the fam ran out of breast milk. I freaked out and thought about jumping the next plane home!! I called the doctor and he said calm down and remember he won't let himself starve. She won't either although it might be hell for a little while. Good luck and enjoy some yummy chocolate.

They also have a great flavor that is cookies and cream, but with chocolate ice cream....soooo good.
OK, formula....do you have a pump? if you do, pump and add breastmilk to the formula it will taste more familiar that way, slowly add less and less until she just goes for it. otherwise, it might be a tough few days, but she'll eat it eventually. :)

Yes, I too would die if I couldn't have chocolate. Infact, the pedi suggested that Aiden might be spitting up(throwing up but they always try to minimize it) because of dairy, and I should try to cut all dairy out of my diet for a couple weeks. I just laughed, right in her face. That too would be impossible, that would mean giving up ice cream. Never gonna happen. :-)
I hope you figure out a way to get Sarah to like the formula a little more (it does smell awful!)maybe try pumping and mixing the formula in gradually? Or is it the bottle she dosen't like.

Well we can tollerate chocolate pretty well, but we all sufer if I even think of eating Mexican food (my to die for favorite)! Good luck! Hadley is refusing a bottle right now so we need to get working on it. When I weaned Eliza I would give her the formula bottle first thing in the morning when she woke up because she would be starving!

joy this happened to me as well...mix the formula with apple juice. It will also help with digestion for the first little while as it is harder for them to process...good luck!
