Hello, Lover...

Just thought I would drop in quickly and announce that my love affair with chocolate will soon be rekindled...I am in the process of weaning Sarah. The only thing is...she doesn't love formula so much. It's like I am trying to feed her poison! Any suggestions appreciated...

I am planning on doing a proper post soon...and I am still planning on privatizing my blog. Thanks for the emails, I need to get my list together when a have a free minute (ha!) and do it.

MI...A?

I just realized I have been MIA for awhile... I am in Michigan staying with the Smiths, who have so graciously entertained me since Thursday. It has been a fantastic trip and I can't wait to share pictures. But for now, let me share this utterly humiliating story...
So, I was at Wal Mart on Wednesday, stocking up on 'travel sized' toiletries for this trip, and it was of course SO crowded, as WM always is. There were a few shopping carts full of products to be stocked on the shelves that were hanging out in the aisles, so everyone was trying to maneuver their way around them. I got my travel items and then had to back out of the aisle since there were people and carts blocking my path, and as I was backing out I noticed that there were people behind me as well, waiting for me to move so they could go through. So I continued to back up, trying to squish myself out of the way so that the other people could go up the aisle, when I bumped my backside into yet another cart full of re-stock products (women's hair dye). Well, I bumped that cart right into the emergency exit. Yeah, you would have thought it was WWII the way the sirens were going off. It was enough to damage the eardrums of everyone in the place for life. The most horrific part of it all was that I was stuck there...I couldn't sneak off and pretend that it wasn't me who set off the alarm, because of all the people and carts surrounding me. I was hoping someone would reassure me that it wasn't my fault, but I could see that pretty much everyone was judging and hating me for the sirens wailing around them.
Just another lovely shopping experience at WalMart. Yikes.

I {heart} Anne Marie

Happy Birthday Anne Marie!!

As you blog readers can tell from the never-ending pictures below, Anne Marie and I have been friends for a looooong time. Lucky for you, all my highschool scrapbooks are buried deep in my parent's basement right now, or else there would be many, many more!!

I met Anne Marie on a double date. The two guys we were with were best friends, and Anne Marie and I hadn't ever met. I spilled my water all over her at dinner, so nice of me, huh? Anyway, the boys didn't last but our friendship did!

In highschool, Anne Marie and I had a dream that one day we would become college roommates. Unfortunately that never happened. Looking back, I can't believe that we really never lived together, I know we would have had a blast.
I spent a lot of time hanging out in her apartment at USU. Here is a pic of us on True Aggie Night. Good times, haha...

Ow, Ow, the Howl! Gotta love that big curly hair.

Her 21st birthday. Wow, what a that was a huuuuuge party! The mansion was filled to the brim with people there to celebrate wonderful Anne Marie. Grabbing some treats at the Logan gas station after the weirdest date set-up ever! (Thanks Anne Marie!)

She was the Maid of Honor in my wedding...

I was the Matron of Honor in hers!!

She had a lifelong goal of trying to set me up with my 'future husband'. She really made a good effort, but it didn't happen... However she did meet HER husband by hanging out with me!

She has been there for me through school, dating, marriage, and babies.

I love you Anne Marie! I hope you have a wonderful day.

No I didn't win.

And I don't want to talk about it. It was my own stupidity that lost it for me. Now I am bidding on another one but the auction doesn't end for a few days. I will let you know how it goes!!

Ebay high....

Alright, I am in hyperventalation mode. Those of you who have ever bid on something from Ebay that you want REALLY badly knows what I am talking about.

I bid.

I got the email saying, "This auction is almost over and YOU are the highest bidder."

I am constantly stalking the item to make sure no one is bidding on it.

AAAAAAAAA!!! I don't even know if I will sleep tonight! If you are wondering what it is that I am giving myself a heart attack over, it's this:

Yes, ANOTHER CAMERA!!! Don't judge me! It's the Nikon D70S. I am upgrading. Which means I will be selling my D40. I actually already have a potential buyer, but if that falls through I will be listing it here on my blog. And then if no one wants it here, on we go over to ebay to give someone else the same heart failure I am going through right now....

Now onto a completely different and not to mention, random subject...I am really enjoying my sister's playlist on her blog right now. I think if Mike has to listen to this song one more time, he is probably going to jump out a window. I am completely obsessed. It took over my obsession for this song, which, I must say, was quite a doozy. Thanks, Ad, for your great music. :)

He will be missed.

It was so bitter-sweet hearing the news of President Hinkley's passing. I really loved him and was not looking forward to losing his amazing talks, his sweet sense of humor, and his adorable countenence. However, one of my favorite quotes of his makes my heart soar during this time.

(Speaking of his wife, Marjorie):

“Before I married her, she was the girl of my dreams,” he said. “She was my dear companion for more than two thirds of a century, my equal before the Lord – really my superior. Now in my old age, she has again become the girl of my dreams.”

This brought tears to my eyes when I heard him say it, and it brings tears to my eyes now. I am so thrilled that he is once again with the girl of his dreams...
